Boy Scout Hill at White Rock Lake

My son and I recently shot a panorama from Boy Scout Hill at the north end of White Rock Lake. Since that location has been in the news, I thought I’d post the panorama on this blog. I am sympathetic with those who oppose the idea of building a restaurant on Boy Scout Hill. White Rock Lake is one of the few places in this city where one can get away from the crowds and the traffic! Other developments around the lake have tended to result in fewer trees and more parking lots (and all kinds of other annoyances that opponents justifiably bring up).

Panoramas? YES!

We do 360° panoramas of homes and businesses. Sometimes a good panorama is the BEST way to let potential buyers and visitors know what they can expect.

HDR Photos? YES!

It only makes sense to take advantage of high dynamic range photography. Our HDR photographs are an attempt to emulate what the amazing human eye and brain can take in.

Retouching? YES!

Some blemishes are temporary (brown grass, a gloomy sky). And some possessions are too valuable for the public to see or recognize. Retouch them! Ethical principles DO apply here.
